Fortress of Faith enjoys the fellowship of believers from ecclesiastically distinct denominations who in practice may have ways of honoring Christ's name differently. In service to Christian believers, our commitment and tenets of faith are listed below. We hope that our service testifies to what we believe.

What we believe …
Word of God
1. We believe the Bible is the infallible inspired Word of God, the final authority for living, as spoken to men chosen of God.
Godhead
2. We believe that there is one God manifested in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe that Jesus is the only Son born of God. Jesus was born to a virgin; died on the cross as payment for the penalty of our sins; and on third day arose from the grave; now sits in heaven as intercessor for us; and is the only way by which we can come to God.
4. We believe the Holy Spirit abides in each believer, as counselor, comforter and guide.
Salvation
5. We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God to participate in a personal intimate relationship with Him.
6. We believe that each of us is in need of a savior because of Adam’s sin which led to generational spiritual death and separation from relationship with God.
7. We believe that because of Jesus’ sacrifice of His own blood on the cross, we receive salvation when we confess and believe in Christ as Lord and Savior. All who continue in a true faith in the Lord Jesus Christ comprise the corporate members of the true “church.”
Baptism
8. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in diverse kinds of tongues, as our empowerment to be witnesses for Christ; to seek and save the lost.
9. We believe in Baptism by complete immersion in water as an outward demonstration by each believer of acceptance of Christ as personal savior and proclamation of separation from and death to sin and resurrection to newness of life.
Resurrection
10. We believe in the personal return of Jesus Christ for His bride, the church.All who have died shall be resurrected:those who died in Christ shall be raised to eternal life; and the unbeliever unto eternal damnation.Those who are alive upon Jesus’ return shall be caught up in the air to be with Him forevermore.
